For doctors or healthcare professionals subscribing to the Site, PII may also include unique identifies such as log ins and passwords created for purposes of accessing the subscription-based services (“Services”) the Site provides.
Non-PII: Non-PII is information that identifies your computer and its navigational patterns through the services provided by this Site (but not a specific user). We may automatically collect Non-PII when you visit the Site, such as IP address, through the use of a variety of tools including cookies (small text files that are stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes and which contain information about that user’s computer), or other available analysis or collection technologies.
For doctors or healthcare professionals accessing the Services the site Provides, we collect payment information, including without limitation your full name, payment card information, and billing address. When you make a payment through our Services (as further described in and subject to the Subscription Services Agreement), your payment card information is processed by our payment processing partner, such as Stripe (https://stripe.com). Our payment processing partner collects your voluntarily provided payment card information in order to process your payment. The site does not otherwise maintain or store your payment information. Our processing partner’s use and storage of your payment card information is governed by its applicable terms of service and privacy policy.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) provided specific protections for the privacy and security of “protected health information” or “PHI” and how it is used and disclosed. When this Site receives identifiable information about you from your voluntarily-disclosed submissions, including health-related information, this information is considered PHI. The Company may use and disclose your PHI in the same way it uses and discloses your PII that is not PHI.
